We have forced hot air heat in a three bedroom. The master and small back bedroom are at both ends of the house. I have two Envi 500 wall heaters and with the door closed are bedrooms are not cool anymore sleeping at night. We live in a cold mountain valley. My wife is verry happy.
I’m going to curse so you known this isn’t a bogus or AI review. Bought two 500w plug in WiFi heaters for two I heated upstairs bedrooms in VT. Sleek, amazing heat, no moving parts so no sound, and WiFi I can pre heat this vacation home.. I’d say the rooms are 100 sq/ft. Best $&@!ing investment ever. Was 8’F this am and kids were snug as a bug in a rug.
I purchased multiple ‘Smart’ units (both 500 & 1,000 watt) for our vacation home. I love the ability to remotely turn on the units before we arrive. Because of the natural convection process, it is better to turn on the units the night before arriving. It is important to note that these units do not force air so do not expect the process to be quick. And as far as sizing, I would be conservative and go with the larger size especially if the room size is more than 150 square feet. They never got the rooms hot, but rather helped take some of the chill away. The freeze protect feature is great for our use with the home in the mountains where freezing can occur. We installed one near the water heater closet just for this reason. And even if the units are turned off, we can see the temperature of each room where they are installed with the use of the app.
This is a really great heater. Its meant to maintain a temp in a room and it does that well. The new smart app is wonderful and really the best way to go. I would only buy the smart version from now on.

Very easy to setup, directions are very clear and easy to understand. I love the app and the ability to share the heater with another for when I am away and they can monitor it and get alerts. The freeze setting is what I wanted as my laundry room is without heat and the water intake pipes are there so it is important to keep above freezing. Love it!
I'm loving this new heater. It replaces an old heater that would take forever to warm the room. Envi heater is quiet and consistent, keeps the room warm and reacts much quicker than the old heater. The app works great and it was easy to install. I'll probably get another one.
Works great and feels solid. It has been sort of set and forget. I monitored room temps and it has maintained the temp very steadily in a small room. I wish the app could show historic run time but not required.

The dual-stack convection technology featured in the Envi was born out of years of research and development to find a solution to effectively and safely heat a room using the smallest possible, amount of electrical heating energy.
Dozens of heating methods were evaluated to fine tune the Envi heater, but eventually the answer was found in a naturally occurring phenomena called the "stack effect". This provided the basis for and eventually we won a patent for the final Envi heater design. Natural convection, fanless heating is enhanced by simulating multiple pathways, or “stacks,” inside the Envi heater. This technology boosts the flow of cool air from the floor of a room, into the unit, and maximizes heat transfer out the top of the heater. The resulting process creates a slow moving transfer of warm air around the room, effectively warming the occupants.
The result is a 100% pure convection, fanless heater that uses minimal energy but also effectively warms each room in a house or office - or any room or space for that matter!
