Easy to install. We have it controlling 2 eheat heaters. Working great! This is in a room that we rent so it's terrific for programming heat when room is unoccupied!
EASY TO INSTALL. WORKS GREAT. VERY IMPRESSED.
We wanted a 220v Envi Heater with built in controller. The unit we sought is out of stock for at least 2 months, maybe forever. So, we went with the external thermostat version. It took a lot of work to gouge out the solid redwood walls and cut the hole for the thermostat. The thermostat has more features than we know how to use. Programmable, with different modes. All we wanted was an easy on/off with temperature setting. This unit has swing open sides to access the controls. The on off switch is small. I don't know if any guests will be able to use it. We were surprised to have to connect the 220v supply to the thin wires of the thermostat, and have the full current of the heater flow through it. Setting the tiny micro switches on the circuit board was interesting. The degree C or degree F switch worked. The A/F or A switch did not. We had to set the switch to the underfloor sensing setting in order to see the ambient air temperature display.We don't have an underfloor sensor. We are grateful to have the combination heater and thermostat work at all.These are our genuine experiences, maybe we needed to make a better choice.
