Envi Heater Technology
The triple-stack convection technology featured in the Smart EnviMAX was born out of years of research and development to find a solution to effectively and safely heat a room using the smallest possible, amount of electrical heating energy.
Dozens of heating methods were evaluated to fine tune the Smart EnviMAX heater, but eventually the answer was found in a naturally occurring phenomena called the "stack effect". This provided the basis for and eventually we won a patent for the final Envi heater design. Natural convection, fanless heating is enhanced by simulating multiple pathways, or “stacks,” inside the Smart EnviMAX heater. This technology boosts the flow of cool air from the floor of a room, into the unit, and maximizes heat transfer out the top of the heater. The resulting process creates a slow moving transfer of warm air around the room, effectively warming the occupants.
The result is a 100% pure convection, fanless heater that uses minimal energy but also effectively warms each room in a house or office - or any room or space for that matter!

Good Price, fast delivery and easy install! Very good instructions and fast install. It is summer now so we have not had a chance to test the unit. I like the smart features for remote control of the unit. I can turn it on and off from the road.
We installed five of them and they all worked perfectly easy to install and nice consistent heat especially if you need to heat up individual rooms. Keep it as a back up instead of heating up the whole house. You can heat up one or two rooms at a time.
I originally bought the 500 w heater , it was ok but not as warm as I wanted for a cellar space. (10x20) I upgraded to the 1000w made all the difference in the world. Very easy to hang and love the ability to turn on and off with my phone. Have recommended to others having trouble heating small spaces. They too had been very happy with the flexibility it offers. Worth every penny!
I like how easy this was to wall mount and believe that it's aesthetically pleasing to look at. I'm enjoying the convenience of this heater, but I wish I had ordered one with a higher watt output (my own miscalculation)
Love this new SmartEnvi. We have a number of older Envi’s that are manual and we have to be careful to double check them after we have visitors. This SmartEnvi is easy to control. The app is a bit buggy unless you just want to do basic on/off or set up routines.
Easy to install and works efficient
The unit is very quiet and I like that I can set a temperature. This was for an unheated three season porch, where I grow my vegetable starts in the spring. Want to keep the room above freezing, which it does, but I will say it doesn’t seem to be the right size for this room, which is 12’ x 16’

So far so good. We have added to a room that had a chill from very large rooms and it's main source of heating is a heat pump. It is a large room so we are using it as addition and the solution is working.
Directions somewhat confusing. I was able to set a temperature but it took some time
I bought this new model to replace my original heater. The Smart Envi is slightly deeper and much more effective. The app is a little awkward in setting up a schedule, but I found videos on YouTube to help. I enjoy setting a specific temperature instead of the old on/off and making adjustments as it warms up. The ability to control it with the app is also helpful for when schedules change and you can't run home to turn it on or off.
The metal frame was a little warped and the front cover was a little detached instead of seamless like the other one I bought. I think their QC process has been relaxed to cut costs. It works and its already installed so I’m not returning it but they should do better for the price
Liked the design and convenience of installing. But the main purpose of this heater is to heat which isn’t its strong suit. I’ve installed it in kitchen as a secondary heat source and it takes an entire day to heat up a kitchen even with 90 setting. I’m wondering how much it’ll impact the electric bill with inefficient heating.

The schedule program needs to easy
I have bought two products from Envi, the latest being the smartenvimax. Overall, both times, the products seem to be very overhyped than what they are. My $50 original space heater works just as well, but I bought these because they have enhanced safety features (shut-offs if they come off the wall or get too hot). However, the actual ability to heat the room is nothing special and subpar in my opinion.
Incredibly easy to install. So quiet, that you don’t even know it’s on. You can control the device by your smartphone. I highly recommend this product.
I do love this heater. But, just like all space heaters, they run up the electricity bill. I have two and keep them off when not in use. I love the app feature.
I purchased 4 of these heaters. We have larger rooms with high celings so I was not sure they would be able to keep up. We placed one in the sitting room area and one in the dining room area. The temperatures here are highs in the mid 40s lows in the low 30s at night. They are keeping things very comfortable. They are very easy to install and they don’t take up floor space which is excellent! I love that they don’t make noise. We will be putting one in our bedroom and one in our daughter’s apartment now that we know they will work for our house with it’s larger rooms.
The heater is quiet and works well but I bought the smart version but no matter what trouble shooting I did, it will not connect to my wifi
The engineering that went into just the simple box design that keeps the system safe as well as becoming a template to use as the installation guide is genius. However, the fact that they give you two installation kits is a huge bonus. Because this thing has to mount to a wall to turn on, the hangers can actually be installed in two different places if you wanted it to be portable. It's extremely easy to move and this is a huge feature!
As for the unit itself, it works great, it blends in seamlessly with the wall, assuming you have a white wall, and it's easy to set up on the app.
