Envi Heater Technology
The dual-stack convection technology featured in the Envi was born out of years of research and development to find a solution to effectively and safely heat a room using the smallest possible, amount of electrical heating energy.
Dozens of heating methods were evaluated to fine tune the Envi heater, but eventually the answer was found in a naturally occurring phenomena called the "stack effect". This provided the basis for and eventually we won a patent for the final Envi heater design. Natural convection, fanless heating is enhanced by simulating multiple pathways, or “stacks,” inside the Envi heater. This technology boosts the flow of cool air from the floor of a room, into the unit, and maximizes heat transfer out the top of the heater. The resulting process creates a slow moving transfer of warm air around the room, effectively warming the occupants.
The result is a 100% pure convection, fanless heater that uses minimal energy but also effectively warms each room in a house or office - or any room or space for that matter!

I like the updated interface on this heater with the ability to choose temperature by degrees rather than dial. It is much quieter than our old one and doesn’t get too hot for my 2 year old to touch. Very happy with it and will probably replace our other ones
Very happy with my hardwired 240v 500 watt Smart EnviMax wall heater! Easy to install, and it works very well. Being able to set temperature ranges and schedules is wonderful!
I bought this to replace a 1500 watt heater with a fan that burned out and almost caught fire. (Different brand) The heat on this 500 watt unit is much more consistent and the unit feels much safer than our previous one. We liked it so much that I bought a second, 120 volt plug-in model for our laundry room which previously had no heat and we’re happy with that one too.

I now have 4 of your Envi heaters in my Condo, they work great. My concern is the hard wire units, #1- the units should be LABELED 120v or 220V on the rear of unit , the 220 units should NOT have a white wire lead connected to LINE voltage. If this unit needs service over time, , and very mis leading, possinle dangerous for anyone not aware it's a 220v appliance. I would also recommend a heavier sheathing on wire, as the process of sliding the unit on hanging clips allows the possibility of wire being pinch behind unit and junction box. I actually finally installed a 1/2" to cord adapter to the exit of wire from rear of unit.
Bought this heater for a small bathroom where I didn't have the clearance for a traditional fan electric wall heater. Glad I did as this heater does an excellent job and is completely quiet. Installation was very easy using the supplied template.
Putting a curbed reflector above the unit helps to put more of the heat out into the room. I think Envi would be smart to include this with the unit.
Heater mounted easily to wall and heats as expected. Very happy with the end result. Love being able to monitor from phone app. Highly recommended.
This is one of the best things I have brought into my life's comfort. I have the 220, and it virtually needs no power; very economical, silent, and efficient. I only wish programming would be better and that I could plan the full week to turn it on and off, not just a temporizer but a full operation schedule.
this is second unit, both ordered in summer so just a prelim test until Winter. Electrician says looks to be impressive quality and he installs many kinds. Like how I can monitor Smart ENVI on my cell. First ENVI was missing hardware package so that was sent separately. Customer Service very responsive via email. These are used as supplemental heating in two bathrooms/washrooms
I've purchased several ENVI heaters over the years. The Smart heaters are a great addition. Unfortunately, the night light on the 500w heater leaves a lot to be desired. The colors don't match with what's selected on the app and the brightness is dissapointing. The 1000w Smart heaters do not have the same problem. If you're looking for a good night light, don't rely on the ENVI heaters.
I’m recommending the Envi heaters to everyone I know. Love that it’s quiet, efficient,, no-fan allergy-friendly, non-drying thermostat- controlled convection heat that simply works! We put one in a bathroom to take the chill off in the morning and it did such a good job of warming the room that we bought a second one (Smart model this time) for a 400 sf bedroom. The 2 Envi heaters are in rooms not served by mini splits. The 500 watt took a while to warm up a 60-degree room to 68 but has been maintaining it well since. No need to run the central gas furnace. We are thrilled with this technology, the beautiful design, and simplicity of use. Also appreciate the 40-degree auto turn on and app control with the Smart thermostat.
With its minimalist design, and great smart features, this is a must have when you need heating in any room. Gives great heat, and is easy to install. I highly recommend this product in either a new build, or if you’re looking to replace outdated baseboard heaters.
The install was straightforward, and the unit works well and as advertised, so I'm fairly satisfied. However, the fact that the panel only shows the set-point temperature, rather than offering some way to see the actual room temperature (either instead of, or alternating with, the set-point) seems like a big oversight. The smart-panel implicitly replaces a digital wall thermostat, and I can't think of a wall thermostat that doesn't show the room temp. And, I would have installed a smart 1000W if envi offered one; hopefully they get that gap in their product line filled quickly, as I have 3 places to put them that 500W isn't adequate for.
