Excellent product for the price

Bought this wall heater for two reasons... 1) to help take the edge off on cold mornings in our corner bathroom that has two large windows, and 2) to help dry our bath towels hanging on the wall. This heater has done an exceptional job at both. We really like the ability to create a custom schedule that turns this on an hour before we wake and then turn things down during the day without having to remember to do it ourselves. Our towels are always warm and dry when we need them and the cold winter mornings are now quite comfortable. Couldn't be happier!

Very hard to Program

I bought a condominium with a hydronic heating system. After multiple leaks, expensive repair bills, and valuable advice from a neighbor, I ripped out the old system and replaced it with Envi heaters. I am very happy with my decision. I got the Smart Envi heaters and hardwired them where my old system's fan vents were. The low profile of the Envi heaters looks so much better! I got the Smart Envi heaters for my bedrooms, office, and hallway. It provides constant, steady heat to the area, with virtually no noise. I like that you can program it and adjust the heat temperature on the unit or via the app. And replacing my hydronic system with Smart Envi heaters was a fraction of the cost of installing an expensive heat pump (my only other alternative). These heaters are great and I highly recommend them!

FInally a product that is higher tech and better looking for bathrooms. AND it really puts out nice even heat.

I bought 5 heaters and I love them but one of them had a feature that wasn't working, the nightlight. I thought I might get some troubleshooting out of customer service but nope. I got a a return label and a separate email that talked about returning it and a restocking fee. I then emailed back saying I wasn't going to pay a restocking fee for a defective unit, I also mentioned I couldn't do it until after Thanksgiving because I will be out of town. I think got a rather rude email back giving me 3 scenarios where I will pay a restocking fee and that I had a 2 week window to get the heater back to them. Moral of the story is, the heaters are great but the customer service needs some re-tuning.

Totally love these heaters. Bought 2 to replace existing Cadet heaters in my beach house. What a difference! No more loud fan noise at night and puts out an amazing amount of heat, even keeping the room adjoining the bedroom a nice even temperature. I am so happy with these. I'm going to purchase another to put in a bathroom.

Having the thermostat is a great help (over the previous model) ... however, it does not appear to put out the same heat (or I do not have the temperature set high enough?)
Also, the new model is slightly different in that the heat is directed more towards the room(away from the wall) ... which is much better, as the previous model will end up leaving a heat mark on the paint above the heater.
Overall, the newer smart heater is a great improvement.

We had an old, recessed wall heater in our bathroom, and I couldn't find a replacement that fit the hole in the wall. The biggest problem was that the heater was located next to the toilet, so with the heater turned on you'd grill your leg. The Envi heater turned out to be the perfect solution, since it's very slim and doesn't get hot to the touch.

The installation was pretty easy, but I did have a problem with the way the cord is installed. This is a hard wired unit and there are a few punch out holes to chose from, but they're all located in the bottom right corner. I had to cut a hole through the tiled wall and install a new gang box to make it work, so the installation would have been way easier if the cord placement had been more flexible (for example by a slightly recessed back). No problem in new construction, but something to keep in mind if you're planning to utilize an existing gang box.

Anyway: Got it installed, and we're very happy with it. It puts out plenty of heat, and the way it circulates the air eliminated foggy windows and mirrors. Best of all: We can now sit on the toilet without grilling our legs!

I have found that this newer version offers better heating than the original model. The on/off light is easier to decern making it less likely to accidently leave the heater on. The WIFI allows me to check the heater from anywhere, giving me peace of mind. Highly recommended !!

Love the heat, easy to install, takes up very little room, and is a great supplemental heat source in a hard to heat space. The Smart features need some work however. GeoFence is unreliable, and the unit doesn't stay connected to internet for remote management. Support was very responsive until they ran out of answers. they simply told me the bug was fixed, verified I had the fixed firmware, and then stopped responding to my emails. the problem is not fixed, so hoping someone may read this review and pick up the conversation again.

When I installed this heater in my son’s room I couldn’t believe it. I kept waiting for the noise and it never came. His room is very small, probably 80 square feet and this heater heats it and keeps it warm. It’s completely silent and is a complete upgrade from the old plug-in radiator heater we used to have to use. I did fight the installation a bit but not because of the heater. I have an old house and renovating is tough. Otherwise this would have been extremely easy. It’s totally worth it if you’re considering it.

I love the other heaters, but this smart heater is glitchy. It gets stuck offline in ‘trying to connect’, where unplugging it doesn’t work. I can’t adjust my heater anymore, and I’m desperately just wanting the old style one with an outlet thermometer.
