The Technology
The triple-stack convection technology featured in the EnviMAX was born out of years of research and development to find a solution to effectively and safely heat a room using the smallest possible, amount of electrical heating energy.
Dozens of heating methods were evaluated to fine tune the EnviMAX heater, but eventually the answer was found in a naturally occurring phenomena called the "stack effect". This provided the basis for and eventually we won a patent for the final EnviMAX heater design. Natural convection, fanless heating is enhanced by simulating multiple pathways, or “stacks,” inside the EnviMAX heater and the standard Envi heater. This technology boosts the flow of cool air from the floor of a room, into the unit, and maximizes heat transfer out the top of the heater. The resulting process creates a slow moving transfer of warm air around the room, effectively warming the occupants.
The result is a 100% pure convection, fanless heater that uses minimal energy but also effectively warms each room in a house or office - or any room or space for that matter!

It really doesn’t work that well. It doesn’t put out much heat. Good thing I’m in Los Angeles
The heater was fairly easy to install and works well. I really like how quiet it is. We’ve ordered another one for our bedroom.
Problem I bought a house 20 years ago and are going to sell it. But the three bedrooms don't have permanent Heat. I have two forms of heat in the house oil heat with a hot water steam and four gas fireplaces. Heat rises so we never really thought about a problem upstairs. However when it came to appraising the house it was a major problem. I didn't want to run all new 220 wires to all three rooms down to the breaker panel. I needed it permanent hardwired. I searched the web and found this one I said well I'll give one a shot. Installation was pretty easy the only problem with it is the specs are very tight on the wall mounting if you're off even by a fraction you're going to struggle with it even with a template. Now you have to let this heat for a bit because there's no fan on it but he is generated and it takes 48 hours for it to affect the room. But it does a great great job. I leave it at one and a half my wife leaves the other room at 1:00 and it's plenty warm in the bedrooms. I bought two more all the upstairs bedrooms are now with that heat it's very efficient and works great. Very happy with my purchase
Works well in small spaces. It definitely can’t keep 350 square feet comfortably warm if it’s any colder than -10°C, plus it’s on all the time so still gets expensive when it’s always running. I also think they cost more to run than they lead on, but power costs different everywhere so depends what rate they are basing those numbers off. Overall if you’re using it in a small room, maybe max 200 you’ll probably be alright even in the cold cold if it’s well insulated, but a bigger space it will struggle. It will be warm right beside it, but across the room will be chilly.
We wish we had purchased these earlier. We have radiant heat and heat pumps which are great for cold weather, but sometimes we just need the chill taken down in the bathrooms. These are an economical solution.
I use these for comfort in bathrooms and supplemental heat in other rooms during cold weather. A superior heater in regards to fit & finish, a breeze to install and simple to operate. These heaters check all the boxes for this fussy homeowner.

This is the third unit I have purchased. The first I bought in 2004 for my new home in Pawleys Island, SC and the 2nd last year for my granddaughter which I installed in her bathroom. Both those units were of the same beautiful design and have been very pleased with their ability's to heat the bathrooms. This one I just purchased for a bathroom I've added in mu summer home and currently am very disappointed in the change in the style of this new design. If i had known these design change was what i was getting I would not have purchased it
