The Technology
The dual-stack convection technology featured in the Envi was born out of years of research and development to find a solution to effectively and safely heat a room using the smallest possible, amount of electrical heating energy.
Dozens of heating methods were evaluated to fine tune the Envi heater, but eventually the answer was found in a naturally occurring phenomena called the "stack effect". This provided the basis for and eventually we won a patent for the final Envi heater design. Natural convection, fanless heating is enhanced by simulating multiple pathways, or “stacks,” inside the Envi heater. This technology boosts the flow of cool air from the floor of a room, into the unit, and maximizes heat transfer out the top of the heater. The resulting process creates a slow moving transfer of warm air around the room, effectively warming the occupants.
The result is a 100% pure convection, fanless heater that uses minimal energy but also effectively warms each room in a house or office - or any room or space for that matter!

How It Works
The Envi Heater’s innovative dual-stack design was born out of years of research and development. The results revealed that the most effective way to heat a room with the least amount of energy is by heating the air in a room using 100% natural convection.
The Envi Heater’s inner chambers feature simulated “stacks” of varying height, which boost airflow through the unit to maximize heat transfer. The end result of this technology is enhanced airflow and safe air temperature, all without the use of a fan!

So far so good......only 4 stars as I don't know what the electric bill will, but heater seems to run efficiently.
Even though the room dimensions I was using this in was smaller than what this heater is capable of (supposedly) it would not heat the room to the desired number. It is a small room, I have shades on the windows, the door was closed. It is an extra bedroom in our house, so it is not a porch or anything. I use it for my Yoga room and thus like to heat it to 75-80 degrees. The heater could not get it above 74. I had a baseboard electric heater in there before and it did the job. I was just looking to get more efficient. I took out the Envi and put the baseboard back in. Very disappointed.
This is our second Envi wall panel. We have two small bathrooms that were in serious need of heat during NH winters. These panels warm the room without being hot to the touch and worrying about a towel being too close. The added bonus is they are easy to install and look great.
Bought 2, one for each bathroom to replace old baseboard heaters, very quiet, love the improved look, only been a month but expect them to be way more efficient.
You do not list the BTU rating for the unit, therefore I can not compare the unit to other electric heaters
Took out baseboard heaters and installed eheaters in every room. Directions easy to follow. Only problems were with the sheetrock and heater location. Also, accidentally threw away template which didn't help. All of which, were not the fault of the heater. Love them!
Great space saving item that I used to replace old clunky radiators. I found it beneficial especially in small spaces. And, mounting it on the wall makes it so convenient that it takes up no space on the floor. It also has a sleek look and fits in with almost any decor.

Easy to install (if you read the instructions first!) and use.
This was a good match for our bathroom, keeps it warm on very cold days and when it’s not quite as cold we leave the door open to heat a laundry / utility entry area. It was easy to install and the instructions were straightforward.

Just installed my 4th Heater in my home! works great & efficiently, if I had any suggestions that e-heat would include in the mounting templet the electrical knockouts would be a tremendous help! as this usually dictates the mounting height
The heaters work great. The design of the back is not. The brackets are too close to the edge. I had to build a wood backer to slip behind the sheetrock to have something to anchor the screw into. The plastic anchor would not have held right next to the box in the wall. Happy to discuss this more if you want to reach out to me.
I like the heater but unfortunately mine are noisy. 3 of the 4 I purchased make loud clicking and chirping noises when the heater element is cooling off. It's loud enough that I cannot run them in my bedroom if I want to sleep. The product is advertised to be silent but mine are not. Customer service was no help informing me the product is performing as intended, silent when it is running. It seems the heater is not intended to be silent after it cycles off. I'm pretty disappointed with the noise and the response I got from customer service, offering a return minus 30% restocking fee. That's not good enough and does not make the problem right. Buyer beware - these are not silent.
I have client's who have pushed the small power switch too hard and the switch has become lodged inside the unit. They now have to power the unit by getting a small screwdriver or pointed object to turn the heater on. I have e-mailed the company multiple times about processing a warranty claim and I have heard nothing back. The previous version of these heaters with a rectangular switch are much easier to use.

We purchased 3 of these for a former home several years ago and were very pleased wth the look, reliability and efficiency. Fast forward several years, when we needed a new heater for a large bedroom (13'x20'). The install was simple. We broke in the unit as described in the handbook. It heats the entire room comfortably on the lowest setting. Love the Envi!!!
We have 4 of these installed in a 600 sq ft addition and they performed well during a storm at minus 37 degree F with a wind.
