Super Cold & Dry Winter Predicted for Canada
Clay Vaughan | 15th Sep 2015
Not too long ago we published an article about how the El Nino is set to affect the US Weather patterns for the upcoming winter and by popular demand we have done our research and discovered what to expect this winter for the Canadian provinces. The USA is expected to have a broad spectrum of weather trends all throughout the country with the East being extremely cold and the South and West being very wet and mild, but Canada is an entirely different outlook.
The 2016 Old Farmer's Almanac paired with a multiplicity of highly revered meteorologists are predicting that many areas of the Commonwealth will feel, frankly, much like the inside of an icebox. They are saying to expect a super cold and dry winter with below-normal temperatures and snowfall.
An exception to this would be the Atlantic coast, which will most likely start out cold and snowy but then, by February/March of 2016, morph into a more mild winter. We shouldn't expect more snow than usual for the great Canadian nation but you should expect the temperatures outside to be much more brisk than what you have seen over the past years.
These weather predictions are based on a highly researched and successful formula that founder Robert B. Thomas designed using solar cycles, climatology and meteorology over 200 years ago. Forecasts emphasize how much temperature and precipitation will deviate from 30-year averages compiled by government agencies and mixed with the expectations of Pacific and Atlantic weather patterns quite often affected by the El Nino which you can learn more about here!
